1. Script Name: yt_rainbarrel_op
2. What it does: Tells the PC who opens the barrel that it has
nothing but rain water in it.
3. Notes: Used to populate rain barrels (and eventually crates,
boxes, and other assorted containers) with mundane, non-treasure,
non-inventory stuff. This script could be modified to report rusty
nails, horse dung, moldy cloth, or anything else that the DM might want
to have in a random container in a village or in a dungeon. Note that
this script must be attached to the OnOpen script line for the object,
and that the only way I've been able to get it to work so far is to
leave both the "Useable" and "Has Inventory" boxes checked. If I find a
way to make it work without having the inventory window open, I will
post a follow-up.
4. The Script itself
NWScript:
void main()
{
ClearAllActions();
ActionSpeakString("This barrel contains only rain water.");
}
