MAKE COUCHES THAT SEAT TWO! BENCHES THAT SEAT -THREE-! STOOLS THAT DON'T MAKE YOU ALWAYS FACE NORTH! FOOTSTOOLS THAT WORK!

Okay, I have verified this, and it *works!* - best of all, it actually requires -almost- no scripting other than the standard "allow chairs to be sittable" script.

1. Paint a couch into your level the way you want it. However, do -NOT- set its Useable tag. Oh, by the way, your couches will have to be plot-flagged so they can't be destroyed, or weird things will happen [later on, people will still be sitting on your vanished couches - funny, but silly.

2. Paint two chairs and make -them- useable. adjust the angle on them to match the couch you just made. Put the sitting script on them, and for their name, replace 'chair' with 'couch' to avoid confusion.

3. CAREFULLY drag the chairs inside of your couch placeable so that the front edge of the chair is juuuust hidden by the couch's front edge. Repeat with the other chair, putting them side by side, hidden inside the couch. You should see only the back of the chair poking out through the middle area of the couch.

4. Flag the chairs' Plot tags as well.

4. Edit properties of each chair, and make their Appearance that of the 'Invisible Object'

5. You've done it! You now have a couch that in-game has two "hot spots" to sit on!

You can use this for several sittable objects as long as they are a logical "sitting height"... benches, footstools, I even made some of the rocks in the Rural tileset that are created by the terrain editor sittable! ...

If you're careful, you can squeeze up to 3 people onto a standard bench. You can also use this trick to make footstools sit-able, and make stools sittable in the direction you want (no more "always facing north stools!"
